FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF SHAMPOO FOR TREATMENT OF DANDRUFF

ABSTRACT Shampoo is a liquid or cream-based soap or detergent mixture that is used to wash hair. A hair care product called shampoo is used to clean hair. Numerous chemical substances present in plants perform biological functions, including defense against insects, fungi, herbivorous animals, and mammals. More than half of post pubescent suffers from dandruff, a common scalp ailment that can afflict persons of all ages, genders, and ethnicities. It is really itchy. It is well known that keratinocytes play a crucial role in the production and expression of immunological responses during the course of dandruff development. The main purpose of shampoos is to cleanse the hair and scalp. Even though herbal shampoos are safer and perform better than synthetic ones, it seems unlikely that they would be widely used by customers in the current market.
