Abstract

A REVIEW ON “POWERING TOMORROW: THE RISE OF SUSTAINABLE BIO-FUELS IN A CARBON-CONSCIOUS WORLD”

ABSTRACT

Bio-fuels have emerged as a vital alternative to fossil fuels, driven by concerns over climate change, fossil fuel depletion, and global energy security. Derived from renewable biological resources, bio-fuels offer a cleaner, sustainable, and potentially carbon-neutral source of energy. This review examines the classification, production technologies, environmental impact, and economic feasibility of bio-fuels, with a focus on recent advancements in feed-stock development and bio-conversion technologies. It also explores socioeconomic and ecological challenges that influence the global adoption of bio-fuels. The review emphasises the role of innovation, policy support, and integrated bio-refinery systems in ensuring sustainable development through bio-energy.
