M. Teja Sria*, G. Lekhyab, M. Jyothsnac and M. Keerthid
ABSTRACT Every department that incorporates medical knowledge benefits greatly from hospital training, but pharmacists in particular benefit greatly from it as it gives them practical experience in patient care, medication management, and pharmaceutical services. Pharmacists get clinical expertise, critical thinking, and decision-making skills from this training, which helps them to optimize drug schedules, spot possible mistakes, and educate patients. Their employability, professional development, and patient outcomes are all improved by this hands-on experience. Pharmacists learn more about multidisciplinary teamwork by collaborating with healthcare teams, which equips them for specialist fields like cardiology as well as complex clinical positions. All things considered, hospital training gives pharmacists the knowledge and self-assurance they need to provide patients with excellent care. As, B pharm final year students, we underwent hospital training at Indus hospitals for about 150 hours.
