*Muskan Shaikh, Dr. S. R. Chaudhary, Dr. Dilnawaz Pathan and Dr. Ramesh Gadekar
ABSTRACT The present study focuses on the green synthesis, formulation, and evaluation of nanoparticles utilizing the aqueous extract of Coleus amboinecus, a medicinal plant renowned for its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. The phytochemicals present in the extract act as both reducing and stabilizing agents in the nanoparticle synthesis process, offering an eco-friendly alternative to conventional chemical methods. zeta potential was determined to assess dispersion and surface charge The biological evaluation of the synthesized nanoparticles included antimicrobial activity against selected bacterial strains, antioxidant assays, and cytotoxicity screening to determine their potential for biomedical applications. The results demonstrated that the nanoparticles exhibited enhanced biological activities compared to the crude plant extract, indicatingtheir potential as effective agents in drug delivery and therapeutic applications. This study highlights the significance of using Coleus amboinicus extract for the green synthesis of bioactive nanoparticles, supporting further research into their application in Nano medicine.
