HARIDRA – A REVIEW ARTICLE

ABSTRACT

Haridra is among the most important medicinal herb listed in Ayurveda's traditional texts. Haridra has numerous qualities. A common drug found in our kitchens that contains numerous beneficial features including as anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anti-cancer, and repelling activity. It is the oldest extant drug, also known as Ayurveda's oldest drug stock. In Samhita Kala, various haridra formulations are described in many diseases like shotha, pandu, hikka-swas, visarp, kamla etc.
