ABSTRACT In Ayurveda, Nasya refers to the therapeutic administration of medications through the nasal route. It forms an integral part of Panchakarma (the five detoxification therapies) and is particularly beneficial for conditions relating to the head, neck, and upper respiratory tract. Pradhamana Nasya is a specialized Ayurvedic therapeutic technique under the broader category of Nasya Karma, which involves the administration of medicated substances through the nasal passages. This procedure is primarily utilized for the management of Urdhvajatrugata (upper respiratory tract) disorders, including conditions like chronic sinusitis, rhinitis, and other nasal pathologies.
