Elaeocarpus grandiflorus J. E. Smith is a part of the Elaeocarpaceae family, Magnoliopsida known as rejasa or anyang-anyang (vernacular title) in Indonesia. Elaeocarpus grandiflorus is the identity plants of the city of Salatiga that are rarely found. Species from Elaeocarpaceae are detailed to contain active compounds such as alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, tannins, terpenoids, and phenolic acids. The essential composition of flavonoid compounds incorporates naringin, isoorientin, orientin, vitexin, isovitexin, rutin luteolin, procyanidin, quercetin, epicatechin, and kaempferol. Rejasa plants were found evergreen tree more than 15 m tallness. Leaves interchange, direct, lanceolate, serrate, acuminate foliar apex, and acute foliar base Blooms are Small 1to1 ½ inch, Stamens wholly-haired, ovary ellipsoid, found predominant. Fruit green, ellipsoid drupe with a length of around 3 cm, contains a difficult unpleasant seed with slim spines. E. grandiflorus has been traditionally utilized to treat diabetic patients. E. grandiflorus has antibacterial, anti-diuretic and antiviral activities. The LC-MS examination showed up that the cell suspension extract of E. grandiflorus contained nearly 87 to 90 types of auxiliary metabolites, including the different part of alkaloids, dicarboxylic acids, flavonoids, phenolic acids, tannins, phytosterols, terpenoids, vitamins, and a few other combinations.
