ABSTRACT Diabetes mellitus is one of the normal endocrine problems portrayed by unhinged emission of insulin or potentially glucagon with broad unsettling influence of carb, protein and lipid digestion. Gymnema Sylvestre is a woody, climbing plant of tropical timberlands of focal and southern India and in pieces of Africa. Gymnema plays had a significant impact in Ayurvedic medication for quite a long time. It has primarily been used to treat diabetes mellitus and other hypo/hyperglycemic conditions. Nearly a century ago, it was demonstrated that the leaves of G. sylvestre reduce glucose in diabetics' urine, providing the first scientific evidence of its use in humans. Costusigneus Nak regularly known as blazing costus, Stepstepping stool or Winding banner or Insulin plant, is local to South and Focal America.
