FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF FOOT CRACK STICK

ABSTRACT

Conventional crack heel formulations available in the market, synthetic or traditional has it’s own merits and demerits. The purpose of the study is to create a convenient method of application of the formulation in stick form, with increased healing potential. The Foot Crack Healing Stick (FCHS) with aloe vera, turmeric, bees wax, cocoa butter, shea butter, vitamin E, coconut oil and lavender oil accelerates the healing process, with range of benefits while reducing the unintentional side effect experienced by synthetic formulation. Additionally, it can also be used for minor burns, wounds, cuts. The foot crack stick’s unique blend of moisturizer, emollients and humectants helps to lock in moisture, soften skin and protect against environmental stressors. Foot crack stick’s rich, non- greasy, texture, make it ideal for daily use, while it’s fragrance-free and hypoallergenic property ensure suitability for sensitive skin.
