Dr. Sapna Desai*, Amliyawala Husain, Vaidehi Kachhela, Akshada Mevada, Dr. Sohan Patel and Dr. Dhananjay Meshram
ABSTRACT The aim of this study is to create and assess a cosmetic herbal face pack using herbal ingredients such as Beal, Multani Miti, Turmeric, Aloe vera, Sandalwood, Mint, Manjistha, Lodhra, and Gram flour that were purchased from the local market and dried, powdered, then passed through sieve no. 85, mixed geometrically, and assessed for its organoleptic, physicochemical & general powder characteristics. Herbal face packs or masks are used to promote blood circulation, revitalize muscles, preserve skin elasticity, and eliminate debris from pores. The benefit of herbal cosmetics is their nontoxic nature, which lowers allergic reactions, and the tried-and-true efficacy of many ingredients. As a result, all of the formulations in the current study were found to have good properties, with batch number five in particular showing great performance across all evaluation criteria. The mixture had a brownish hue. The formulation's slightly alkaline pH, ease of washing, and homogeneity made it compatible with normal skin physiology. The results of all these different parameters indicate that the dried powder in combined form possesses good flow properties and good packing ability.
