ABSTRACT The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has profoundly impacted worldwide healthcare systems, with unprecedented challenges in diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. This review provides an overview of the technological innovations that have been employed to address the pandemic. Key advancements in medical testing equipment, the creation of immunization solutions, antiviral treatments, and digital health technologies are discussed. The article also highlights the role of AI-driven technology (AI), machine learning, and remote healthcare services in controlling the spread of the virus.
