BRYOCIT: -HERBAL TABLETS FOR KIDNEY STONE

ABSTRACT Kidney stones are a common and painful urological condition, affecting millions of people worldwide. Current treatment options, including surgical interventions and medication, often have side effects and high costs. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of herbal tablets made from Bryophyllum pinnatum and Citrus medica as an alternative treatment for kidney stones and to create a synergistic combination with improved therapeutic effects, The tablet was film coated using hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose (hpmc) Trial batches were made to develop and optimize the formulation and procedure. During evaluation tablet was found to have size and shape Circular and 0.55cm diameter, hardness 4.8 kg. Friability >1%. The tablet is having disintegration time of 9 min 21 sec which was found during evaluation.
