AYURVEDIC MANAGEMENT OF PRIMARY INFERTILITY- A CASE STUDY

ABSTRACT Infertility is emerging as a common medical condition in the elite and the socioeconomically well established group of population. Primary infertility denotes those patients who have never conceived due to various causes.[1] WHO estimates that one in every six people of reproductive age worldwide experience infertility.[2] In Ayurveda, it can be correlated to Vandyatwa and Vandya yoni vyapad. With the correction of nidana, supporting the garbhasambhava samagris and Manasika Bhavas conception can be achieved. In this case report, a 28 year old female patient anxious to conceive since 1 year, after Allopathic consultation came for Ayurvedic treatment.
