IMPACT OF LIFESTYLE DISORDERS ON VANDYATVA: A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF AYURVEDIC AND MODERN INSIGHTS

ABSTRACT

Infertility, or Vandyatva, is a rising concern worldwide, significantlyinfluenced by lifestyle disorders. Ayurveda identifies the root cause ofVandyatva in the imbalances of Doshas, Srotas (reproductivechannels), and Dhatus (tissues), emphasizing a holistic approac h todiagnosis and treatment. treatment.[ Modern medicine attributes infertility tohormonal imbalances, metabolic disorders, and env ironmental factors.This article provides a comparative study of both systems, exploringthe profound impact of lifestyle disorders like stress, obesity, anddietary habits on reproductive health. Ayurvedic interventions such asPanchakarma, Rasayana, and lifestyle modifications are discussed ascomplementary tools to modern fertility treatments.
