Samarth Santosh Londhe*, Shubham Shankar Kaulge and Abhay Subhash Kanni

ABSTRACT

An overview of ADRs is given in this article along with a discussion of the challenges associated with management, reporting, diagnosis, and prevention in contemporary therapeutic therapy. As long as drugs are used to treat various ailments, one of the primary causes of morbidity and death, adverse drug reactions (ADRs), will remain a concern for public health around the world. Timely reporting of adverse drug reactions is essential to pharmaceutical safety. In addition to discussing management, reporting, diagnosis, and prevention in contemporary therapeutic practice, this article provides a summary of the fundamental ideas of Ad Rs. As medications are used to treat a variety of illnesses, adverse drug reactions (ADRs), a major cause of morbidity and mortality, will continue to be a global public health concern. Timely reporting of adverse medication reactions is essentialfor pharmaceutical safety. The functions that pharmacists play are well acknowledged worldwide, despite differences in country pharmacovigilance programs. Pharmacists often have a positive attitude regarding reporting ADRs because they recognize that it is part of their professional responsibilities. However, recent data indicates that pharmacists have significant knowledge gaps regarding ADR reporting, especially in nations where pharmacists play a little function in the healthcare system. Undergraduate pharmacy curricula and professional development programs can help fill knowledge gaps. Improving the effectiveness of national pharmacovigilance systems requires determining and addressing the training requirements of physicians and pharmacists. Patient safety may be jeopardized if this is not done.
