POLYMERIC FORMS: TYPES, METHOD OF PREPARATION AND MARKETED FORMULATIONS OF NANOPARTICLE

ABSTRACT

Polymers are large molecules or atoms made by bonding (chemically linking) series of building blocks. The word polymer comes from the Greek word for ―many parts.‖ Each of those parts are called monomers by the scientists.[1]Wool, cotton, silk, wood, and leather are natural polymers that have been known and used since ancient times, whereas, synthetic polymers, which include the large group known as plastics, came to known in the early twentieth century.[2]
