ABSTRACT In this study, zinc nanoparticles were synthesized by using ethanolic extract of Artemisia Nilagirica leaves. Ethanolic extract was prepared by soxhlet apparatus. Phytochemical analysis of ethanolic extract of Artemisia nilagirica leaves was conducted. Zinc Nanoparticles were synthesized from the ethanolic extract. These synthesized zinc nanoparticles were characterized by UV-Visible Spectroscopy and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy technique. The Antibacterial activity of zinc nanoparticles was determined by Disc Diffusion Method. It shows inhibition activity against Enterococcus aerogenes and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Results indicate that zinc nanoparticles possess inhibition efficiency against the pathogens. The Anti- Inflammatory activity was conducted by HRBC method. It shows maximum percentage of inhibition with 76%, with zinc nano particles. The synthesized Zinc nanoparticles show its potential as effective toolin combating microbial infection and Inflammation. Keywords: Zinc Nanoparticles, ethanolic extract, Anti Inflammatory activity. [Download Article] [Download Certifiate] |
