ABSTRACT The objective of the present work is to develop and assess a polyherbal nutraceutical candy integrating health benefits by the combination of Garcinia mangostana, Annona squamosa, Beta vulgaris, and Citrus sinensis. When two or more herbs are used in formulations, they are known as polyherbal formulations. Candy is a type of confectionery made primarily from sugar and often flavoured or coloured. Nutraceutical candy refers to confectionery products that are intended to provide health benefits beyond basic nutrition. The nutraceutical candy is prepared with orange oil, beetroot juice, palm sugar coffee powder, and extracts of mangosteen pericarp and custard apple leaves. Keywords: Garcinia mangostana, Annona squamosa, Beta vulgaris, Citrus sinensis, nutraceutical candy. [Download Article] [Download Certifiate] |
