Abstract

A RECENT ADVANCEMENT IN BALM FOR NOVEL FORMULATION

Gotarne B. Jatin*, Dr. Abhishek Kumar Sen and Dr. Sonali Vinod Uppalwar

ABSTRACT

The development of this novel balm formulation is cantered on the integration of modern nanotechnology and microneedling techniques with the traditional medicinal advantages of herbal extracts. Known for their strong antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing qualities, colloidal silver nanoparticles are combined with traditional herbal components including neem, aloe vera, turmeric, and black turmeric in this composition. By facilitating the transfer of active ingredients deeper into the skin layers, the use of silver nanoparticles improves the balm's penetration and effectiveness. The product is made to work with a microneedling bottle, an innovative technique that creates small holes in the skin's outer layer to enhance absorption and improve skin texture. This formulation offers an alternative to traditional solutions and is specifically designed to address skin diseases such as acne, scars, and general skin regeneration. The balm offers a safe, natural solution for skin care by utilizing organically certified herbs and essential oils extracted by decoction and filtration procedures. This product has the potential to be revolutionary in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic businesses since it combines microneedling and colloidal silver nanoparticles in a liquid form. This technique of transdermal drug administration is innovative. Through the creative application of nanoparticles and microneedling technologies, the initiative aims to improve skin healing, reduce bacterial infections, and promote skin regeneration. The balm raises the bar for therapeutic skin care by providing a distinctive, practical, and all-natural solution.
