ABSTRACT This paper focus on a recently developed, optimized and validated isocratic RP-HPLC strategy for the estimation of anti diabetic drugs sitagliptin. The effective chromatographic identification was accomplished by utilizing the RP-HPLC Shimadzu with diode array detector, a Rheodyne injector (model 7125, USA) valve fitted with a 20μl loop. The use of the Acetonitrile and buffer is utilized as a mobile phase. The chromatographic parameter use for performing this method are Column - Agilent C8 (4.6 x 150mm, 3.5m) or equivalent, the Flow rate - 0.8 ml per min, Wavelength - 254 nm, Injection volume - 20 l with the ambient temperature with Run time - 8.0min and PH - 6.26. After successfully run this method got retention time 2.1 min. After validating this method is found that the method is accurate, precise and sensitive.
