Abstract

A REVIEW ON EARLY AGING: MECHANISM, PROCESS AND PREVENTION

ABSTRACT

Aging is the natural phenomenon of the human body and the indication of skin wrinkles, dullness and loss of glow. Nowadays it was observed in the early ages due to genetic damage, oxidative stress, deficiency of vitamins and nutrients, daily rough life style, environmental effects and so on. This article focused on different Theories of aging, factors and causes affecting aging process and different combating methods. Researchers revealed that some natural and synthetic drugs like metformin hydrochloride, Curcumin, Resveratrol, Astaxanthin, Rapamycin, Nordihydroguaiaretic acid and Coenzyme Q10 etc., act as anti-aging agents. It also depends on pathological conditions that correlates with stress, inflammation, metabolism pathways and vary in various types as per person’s condition individually. Some internal and external factors that affects process of early ageing are cellular uptake of micro and macro-nutrients and its absorption in body, genetic enzymes (Klotho), proteins (Sirtuin), diet like Caloric input with adequate nutrition (CRAN), Rapamycin pathway, Growth differential factor II, Deficiency of antioxidants free radicals, insufficient nutrients, exposure to radiation, Excessive or insufficient sunlight, insufficient sleep and improper exercises etc. The article aimed at preventive measures and some anti-aging agents that helps in combating the early aging results in several diseases and disorders like neurodegenerative, Musculo-degenerative and cancers. In conclusion, with the adaptation of proper healthy lifestyle and skin care routine we can maintain the process of aging sign, metabolic abilities, strength, elasticity and conductivity of skin. Externally, application of moisturizers, sunscreen agents, nutrients and antioxidants, medicated make-up can reduce the early aging.
