ABSTRACT The Siddha system, an ancient medical system, emphasizes lifestyle modification, prophylactic interventions, and dietary management to boost immunity. Cegana vatham, a disease classified into 84 types, is correlated with cervical spondylosis. Ainthennai, a polyherbal formulation, is used for treating cervical spondylosis (Cegana vatham) due to its anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, wound healing, analgesic, anti-arthritic, and anti-osteoporosis properties, providing traditional relief for cervical spondylosis patients. Nowadays, Neck pain has become a matter of major concern which is mainly due to lifestyle modifications with a prevalence rate of 3.3 patients per 1000 people in the general population. Therefore, those diagnosed with cervical spondylosis must receive standard alleviation. AINTHENNAI's effectiveness for treating cervical spondylosis (Cegana vatham) willthus be addressed in this review article, which is based on an evaluation involving many academic articles and scientific studies. Keywords: Ainthennai, Cegana vatham, Cervical spondylosis, Drug Review, Siddha. [Download Article] [Download Certifiate] |
