ANGINA PECTORIS
Anisha Ingle, Shrihari Zinjurde and Manisha Hanmante*
ABSTRACT Angina pectoris is a medical condition characterized by recurring episodes of chest pain or discomfort due to transient myocardial ischemia. It is a hallmark symptom of coronary artery disease (CAD), resulting from a mismatch between myocardial oxygen demand and supply. Angina pectoris is a warning sign of potential myocardial infarction and warrants prompt medical attention. This condition affects millions worldwide, with a higher prevalence among older adults and individuals with cardiovascular risk factors. Accurate diagnosis, lifestyle modifications, and evidence-based treatments can effectively manage angina, reduce symptoms, and prevent cardiovascular complications. Early recognition and intervention are crucial to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. Keywords: Symtoms, types, Diagnosis, Treatment, Unstable angina, Mirovasculan. Comlications.
