Abstract

NOVEL APPROACHES IN CANCER BY USING HERBAL PLANTS

ABSTRACT

A genetic disorder, cancer. DNA modifications, mutations, damage,and other factors are the primary causes of cancer. Herbal supplementsor phytomedicines refer to any plants or parts of plants that are used topreserve health. Herbs are typically boiled in water to make plantextracts. These herbal medications aim to defend against cancer andprevent it. Traditional plants used in cancer treatment includeEleutherococcus senticosis, Astralagaus membranaceous, andmedicinal mushrooms. Other herbs utilised around the world includevalerian, garlic, curcumin, and others. Along with their advantages,some natural treatments also have certain drawbacks. This articleprovides an overview of certain herbal cancer treatments withsignificant pharmaceutical applications.
