A CASE STUDY ON ROLE OF HARITAKYADI KWATHA IN MUTRAKRICHHRA

ABSTRACT Mutrakrichhra is the disease with high prevalence among society. Inmodern medical science it can be correlated to the term Dysuria, whichis a symptom of various urinary tract diseases. In Ayurvedic textsMutrakrichhra mentioned as one of vyadhi of Mutravaha srotas withmain feature krichhata means discomfort during micturition. Inmodern science, Dysuria can be caused by various etiology, which canbe divided into two categories: Inflammatory and Non-inflammatory.[1]One of the main cause of Dysuria is UTI. Increasing antimicrobialresistance among uropathogens which is cause of increasing mortality,morbidity and hospitalisation as well.[2] In Ayurveda variousformulations are mentioned by Acharyas which can provide safe andcost effective treatment. The drug used in this case is HaritakyadiKwatha mentioned in Bhav Prakash Madhyam Khand.[3] Ayurvedic formulations are helpfulto fill the lacuna and provide new insight for the disease. Keywords: .
