ABSTRACT This paper present review on critical review on chemical and biological property of tinsopora cordifolia. In folk and ayurveda system of medicine tinospora cordifoedia is an important herb drug.[1] Tinsopora Cordifoedia is a popular medicinal plant used in traditional medicine to treat various ailments. The common names Amrita and Guduchi belong to the Menispermaceae family. This plant is an important medicinal plant in the Indian system of medicine and has been used to treat fever, urinary problems, dysentery, skin diseases, leprosy, diabetes and many other ailments. Cordifolia, also known as "heavenly elixir", is used in various Ayurvedic medicines as a medicine to treat many ailments of the body.
