Abstract

STANDARIZATION OF PHYSIOCHEMICAL ANALYSIS OF SIDDHA DRUG DHANVANTHRI CHENDOORAM

ABSTRACT

Siddha is one of the oldest systems of medicine originated in Tamil Nadu over 5000 years ago. Siddha medicine mainly focuses on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of rare diseases. The siddha drug Dhanvanthri chendooram found to have potential importance in treatment of penile cancer (Linga puttru) and management. However ensuring the quality and efficacy of the drug before the treatment is said to be crucial. The study investigates the physiochemical analysis of the drug.
