Abstract

NATURAL NOURISHMENT: CRAFTING BAEL FRUIT LIP BALM

ABSTRACT

This study explores the development of a herbal lip balm utilizing Bael fruit extract, renowned in Ayurvedic medicine for its healing properties. The formulation process involves extracting bioactive compounds from Bael fruit and incorporating them into a natural lip balm base. Evaluation tests include physical characteristics, stability, moisturizing, antioxidant, and anti- inflammatory activities. The herbal lip balm presents a promising alternative to chemical-based products, offering potential benefits such as moisturization, healing, and protection for the lips. Further research, including clinical trials and long-term stability testing, is recommended to validate its efficacy and safety.
