FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF BILAYER TABLETS CONTAINING AMBRISENTAN

ABSTRACT

The aim of the present study was to formulate and evaluate a bilayer matrix tablet containing ambrisentan as sustained release. Despite many advances in the development of selective Endothelin receptor antagonists, an ideal drug for treating pulmonary hypertension is still a distant reality. The age-old molecules such as Highdose calcium channel blockers, vasodilators which are still the drugs of choice because of their better pharmacodynamic profile, safety, tolerability.
