FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF HERBAL VANISHING CREAM

ABSTRACT

The purpose of the present research work is to formulate and evaluate the herbal vanishing cream. Herbal vanishing cream offer several advantages over the other creams, the majority of the vanishing cream available are in the market are prepared from the drugs which are obtained from the synthetic origin and these vanishing creams are effective in nature, but it has several disadvantages and side effects. Herbal vanishing cream do not have any side effects and without side effects or any allergic reaction and it gives the fairness look to the skin. The herbal vanishing cream were prepared by emulsification method using (Aloe barbadensis miller, Prunus Amydalus ,Curcuma longa, Azadirachta indica & Ocimum tenuiflorum).The formulated vanishing cream are evaluated for the various parameters like pH, viscosity, spreadability, homogeneity, washability ,dilution test. Among all the six formulations, formulation FP (containing Aloe barbadensis miller, Prunus Amydalus & Azadirachta indica), and FAo(containing Prunus
Amydalus) FN(containing Azadirachta indica) was found be promising based on (viscosity, pH and spreadability).
