The main points of Ad Rs are outlined in this article, which also examines issues with management, reporting, diagnosis, and prevention in modern therapeutic practice. As long as pharmaceuticals are utilized to treat different illnesses, adverse drug responses (Ad Rs), one of the main causes of morbidity and mortality, will continue to be a hazard to public health globally. medication safety depends on prompt reporting of adverse medication reactions. Despite variations in national
pharmacovigilance regimes, the function of pharmacists is widely acknowledged worldwide. Pharmacists generally have a favourable attitude toward reporting Ad Rs and recognize that reporting ADRs is a part of their professional duty. Nonetheless, recent data indicates that there are still significant knowledge gaps about ADR reporting among pharmacists, particularly in nations where pharmacists have a limited role in the healthcare system. Through ongoing professional development initiatives and the reinforcement of theoretical and practical knowledge in undergraduate pharmacy curricula, these knowledge gaps can be filled. The effectiveness of national pharmacovigilance systems is unlikely to increase if the training needs of pharmacists and other medical professionals are not sufficiently identified and met, which could jeopardize patient safety.
