Ravi Hole*, Avhad Pallavi Bharat and Pooja Appaaheb Sudrik

ABSTRACT

Menstruations, another name for periods, are defined as regular vaginal bleeding that occurs as a part of a woman's monthly cycle. A large number of women suffer from dysmenorrhea, another term for painful periods. Menstrual cramps, which cause throbbing, cramping pain in your lower abdomen, are the most common cause of the pain. Other signs and symptoms like headaches, nausea, diarrheal, and lower back discomfort could also be present. Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and period discomfort are not the same thing. There are numerous symptoms associated with PMS, such as bloating, exhaustion, irritability, and weight gain. One to two weeks prior to the commencement of your period, PMS frequently begins. Women today deal with a variety of issues, including pregnancy-related issues, pcod,
pcos, and menstrual pains. Problems with menstruation have been a prevalent complaint among women since the 19th century [80]. Meal cravings, which are primarily experienced by women during their menstrual cycles, are the desire to eat a certain meal. Most often, cravings are for unhealthy items like sugary or salty snacks. It is mostly composed of carbohydrates because the ovulation cycle stage causes the brain's serotonin levels to drop, which can negatively impact mood. Modifying the simple chips with healthier options and incorporating it with different seeds to enhance the chips nutritive value.
