Abstract

STUDIES OF PRECONCENTRATION OF SUDAN IV DYE ON ?- CYCLODEXTRIN EPICHLOROHYDRIN POLYMER

ABSTRACT

A method has been developed for the preconcentration of Sudan IV dye using a synthesized β-cyclodextrin polymer. Various parameters such as pH, shaking time, amount of adsorbent, sample volume etc. for the % uptake of Sudan IV dye has been optimized. The method has been applied for the determination of Sudan IV dye in different food samples.
