Abstract

REVIEW ON APATYAKARA GHRITA: A HERBAL FORMULATION

ABSTRACT

In Ayurveda, herbal and herbo-mineral remedies are frequently used. It has made reference to more comprehensive signs. One such classical multi-ingredient herbal Ayurvedic formulation is Apatyakara Ghrita. It has many pharmaco-therapeutic applications. Apatyakara Ghrita is Balya, Rasayana and Aphrodisiac properties. It also provides immunity and strength to the body due to Rasayana. In this study an attempt is made to analyse the formulation from Charak Samhita and insight into their ingredients, and applications.
