BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES OF AGNPS AND CHAMOMILE EXTRACT SOLUTION

ABSTRACT

Wound healing and antimicrobial properties are two critical aspects that are often interconnected, and certain substances or treatments can address both functions simultaneously. Silver has been used for centuries for its antimicrobial properties. Recently, it has been researched for various medical applications due to these properties. This work investigated the biological activities of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) and chamomile water solution. The obtained results have shown the formulated solution's antimicrobial action against Staphylococcus aureus, wound healing action as demonstrated by the scratch assay, antioxidant action through the DPPH test, and in vitro non-cytotoxicity.
