ABSTRACT

In recent years Pollution, Radiation and Mental stress have become regular occurrences in people’s lives, along with the consumption of junk and chemically processed food further aggravate the problem commonly disease like Prameha (Diabetic Mellitus) Sthoulya (Obesity), Shwasa (Dyspnoea), Hridroga (Cardiac Disease) and the potential role of Rasa Shastra in Ayurveda in addressing these issues is insightful. The acknowledgment of imbalances in the body due to contemporary lifestyle practices leading to serious diseases aligns with the holistic approach of Ayurveda. The concern about the efficacy of drugs in the current era and the perceived diminishing effectiveness is a point worth considering. The emphasis on Rasaushadhi from the Rasa Shastra branch of Ayurveda as a solution for lifestyle disorders adds depth to the discussion. This highlights the ongoing dialogue and potential conflicts between traditional systems of medicine and contemporary
medical practices. historical success of Vaidyas in helping patients with difficult and incurable diseases using Rasa dravyas and their preparations adds historical context and credibility to the discussion. It reinforces the idea that traditional practices have provided effective solutions to health challenges over centuries. The concept of Ayurveda Fraternity Deception adds another layer to the challenges faced by the Ayurvedic community, suggesting potential misinformation or misunderstanding surrounding Ayurveda. In conclusion, our perspective sheds light on the intricate balance between tradition and modernity, efficacy and perception, within the context of Ayurveda and its application in addressing complex health issues. It emphasizes the importance of preserving and understanding traditional practices while navigating the evolving landscape of global healthcare standards.
