ROLE OF TAMBULA SEVAN AS A DAILY REGIME-A REVIEW

ABSTRACT

In order to attain the main goal of maintaining a healthy life, one must follow the Dinacharya (Daily Schedule) which our Acharya has explained in detail. It has also been observed that Tambula Sevana, when taken systematically, has a special effect on health, as explained in our classics. The rules that define and prohibit the use of Tambula Sevana are also described in the Brihattraya and other authentic Ayurveda books that are still in vogue today. This paper attempts to gather valuable information about Tambula Sevan from the classical Ayurvedic literature, to reaffirm its benefits, and to demonstrate its importance in oral hygiene.
