MANAGEMENT OF PARINAMA SHOOLA (DUODENAL ULCER) WITH UNIQUE COMBINATION OF AYURVEDIC HERBS- A CASE STUDY

ABSTRACT
In Ayurveda, Parinama shoola is a disease in which abdominal pain during digestion is observed. The disease Parinama shoola was first mentioned by Madhavakara. The aetiology, pathogenesis and clinical manifestation of Parinama shoola have got a striking similarity with duodenal ulcer in modern science. In modern era changing life style, intake of fast food, bakery items, chinse food improper food intake, mental stress, strain increases gastrointestinal diseases day by day. Present case study, 35 year male patient have been suffering from bhukte jeeryati yat shoolam (Epigastric pain during digestion of food), Adhmana (distension of abdomen), Hrillasa (nausea), Chardi (vomiting), Malabaddhata (constipation). in the last 6 month which get relive in within 45 days.
