Abstract
MANAGEMENT OF COMMON MIGRAINE THROUGH AYURVEDA - A CASE REPORT

ABSTRACT
Migraine is the most common neurological disorder affecting the large amount population globally. Nearly 14 -15 % of global population is suffering with migraine headache. No effective remedy is present in modern science to completely cure migraine. The main aim of the treatment protocol adopted in this study is to give relief from migraine and also to improve the quality of life of the patient. Ayurveda is a holistic life science which consists large number of effective medicines to cure migraine. In this case study tab. Shirashooladi vajra rasa, Cephagraine tab, Varunadi kashayam and avipattikara choorna internally for 1 month with shadbindu taila Nasya and ksheerabala taila massage to the face is administered for 14 days (14 days gap in between). Patient felt significant Symptomatic relief and Marked difference in assessment criterias. This proves that the treatment protocol which is adopted in this study has the potential to manage the common migraine headache and improve the quality of life of the patient.
