ABSTRACT
With a proven protective effect against atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) that has been demonstrated even in individuals with normolipemic hyperlipidemia, statins are the preferred hypolipidemic treatment for hyperlipidemia. The best evidence-based medications for both prevention and treatment of this condition are statins. A key component of management, statins are recommended in all published guidelines. There may be variations in the effectiveness of different statins, and there is conflicting and limited data from head-to-head comparisons. The purpose of the study is to comparing the efficacy of low dose statin versus high dose statin in coronary artery disease patient and comparison of safety of high dose statin vs low dose statin.
