ABSTRACT

"In 2023, the FDA greenlit a wave of pioneering drugs in the realm of cancer therapy, marking a substantial leap forward in combating this intricate ailment. These recently endorsed treatments showcase remarkable progress across diverse cancer categories, embracing targeted therapies, immunotherapies, and innovative combined interventions. Among these approvals, certain medications have demonstrated significant efficacy, impeding tumor advancement, bolstering patient survival rates, and minimizing the adverse effects commonly associated with traditional therapies. These FDA-sanctioned drugs symbolize a critical stride in tailoring more precise and efficacious cancer care, fostering renewed optimism and potentially better outcomes for those navigating this formidable challenge. This review is about various drugs approved by FDA in 2023 for treatment of cancer like orserdu, posluma, fruzaqula, etc.
