ABSTRACT
Vaccination is the most effective means of controlling contagious complaint- related morbidity and mortality. still, due to low immunogenicity of viral antigens, nanomedicine as a new occasion in new generation of vaccine advancement attracted experimenter stimulant. Virosome is a lipidic nanomaterial arising as FDA approved nanocarriers with promising bioinspiration and biomimetic energy against viral infections. Virosome face revision with critical viral emulsion proteins is the foundation of vaccine development. Surface antigens at virosomes innovatively interact with targeted receptors on host cells that elicit humoral or cellular vulnerable responses through antibody- producing B cell and internalization by endocytosis- intermediated pathways. To date, several nano vaccines grounded on virosome phrasings have been capitalized against wide and life- changing infections. Lately, Great attempt were made to fabricate a virosome- grounded vaccine platform against a new severe acute respiratory pattern coronavirus 2 (SARS- CoV- 2) virus. Therefore, this review provides a new overview of the virosome derived from a nano vaccine product, used for the viral contagions, especially its significance in SARS- CoV- 2 vaccine discovery.
Keywords: Vaccination, Bioinspiration, Virosomes, SARS-CoV-2.
