Abstract

AGNIKARMA: AN AYURVEDIC MANAGEMENT OF CERVICLE EROSION OR KARNINI YONIVYAPAD -A CASE STUDY

ABSTRACT

Ayurveda is the ultimate and enduring branch of medicine since it focuses on promoting health and treating illnesses. Every human being should have greater health, according to medical science. The treatment should be able to cure the illness and do so without causing any negative side effects in order to accomplish this goal. cervical erosion is a condition that affects the uterine cervix. In case of cervical erosion cervix become hypertrophic, clogged and covered with tiny red projections that resemble sprouts . Due to its clinical appearance, Karnini Yonivyapad is compared to cervical erosion. Its pathophysiology and therapy are discussed in traditional texts. Cervical cancer is currently the world's biggest problem. In order for pathological erosion to effectively regress, it is optimal and comprehensive for the treatment to remove the ectopic columnar epithelium and create a favourable cell environment.for regression would be the optimal and comprehensive treatment for pathological erosion. In the present study the patient of cervicle erosion is treated with sthanik chikitsa that is ksharkarma and agnikarma and shaman chikitsa.
