FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF SNEDDS LOADED WITH FELODIPINE

ABSTRACT

SNEDDS (Self Nano-Emulsifying Drug Delivery Systems) loaded formulation is a novel drug delivery system and an emerging interest in the field of Nanotechnology. So, we are making formulation of oral drug delivery which is a very good for reducing toxic effect of drug. Hence, it is very reliable route for drug administration. Felodipine is a cardiovascular drug witch decrease systolic & diastolic blood pressure so by formulating it through SNEDDS it can be very reliable and covinient to the patient. SNEDDS can be used wide range of drugs, including lipophilic and hydrophilic drugs. SNEDDS can be used as hybrid technology for delivery of drug so formulation and evaluation of snedds were done using felodipine as drug.
