VRANA SRAVA ACC TO BRUHATRAYIS W.S.R TO WOUND EXUDATE –REVIEW ARTICLE

ABSTRACT

Vrana srava is elucidated in Ayurveda with great importance to its symptomatology by bruhathathrayis. The father of surgery, Acharya sushrutha dedicated vrana srava vijnaniya - knowledge of exudates of the wound chapter to explain vrana srava.[1] In this review article, we have tried to describe different types of vrana sravas and their lakshana[2] [sign and symptoms] sthana [loction] and correlated to exudate of wound. Effort have also been carried out collect and discuss, &describe the Ayurveda concepts of vrana srava i.e wound exudate. In this review article let us have a glance over vrana srava.
