ABSTRACT

Cosmetics are the products which are generally used to beautify the skin and also to purify the skin. Cold cream is an oil in water type emulsion. The give elegance to the skin and is not that much geasy. Due to oil phase it gives an emollience to the skin. The function of cold cream is to moisturise the dry skin. It allows to eliminate the waste material from the pores and also cools the body. It is easily watered and easy to wash away. They are non irritating when applied to skin. Creams can be modified with herbal drug extracts and can be used as optimal delivery system for different skin diseases
