FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF HERBAL UNDER EYE DERMA GEL

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this work to make under eye derma gel using avocado extract, orange tincture, papaya, rose oil, almond oil, carbapol, triethanolamine, methyl parabean and glycerin. Avacado. Helps in improving skin suppleness and it also promotes blood flow around the eyes. It prevents wrinkles around eyes and counteract age related deterioration. Papaya is used to abolishes dead skin cells. The papain enzyme miraculously restores the appearance of skin as being evenly toned. It shows skin repairing, exfoliating and moisturizing property. Rose oil used to minimized dark circles, rose petal extract inhibits the SUV -induced MAPKK-MAPK signaling pathway. Orange helps to enhance lightning of the skin and its has antioxidant property. Carbapol is an extremely efficient rheology modifier capable of high viscosity and forms sparkling clear gel. Triethanolamine found in skin care and cosmetic product such as moisturizer, eyeliner, mascara, hair care and sunscreens. It stabilize and increase the PH of the product to improved the way they feel and interact with the skin. Methylparaben is used as antimicrobial preservative in cosmetics. Glycerine is great for skin beacuase it act as a humectant and allows to retin moisture in skin.
