Abstract

A REVIEW ON: ASHOKA (SARAKA INDICA) AN INDIAN TRADITIONAL MEDICINE

ABSTRACT

Ashoka is the most ancient tree of India, commonly known as a “ashoka briksh”, botanist known as a Saraca asoca (Roxb.), De. wild or Saraca indica belonging family Caesalpinaceae. Medicinal gravies are Moving from frame to mainstream use with a great number of people seeking remedies and health Approaches free from side goods caused by synthetic chemicals. Saraca asoca is contain glycoside, Flavanoids, tannins and saponins. It’s used as spasmogenic, oxytocic, presentational, antiestrogenic. Exertion against menorrhagia and anti-cancer this review aims in consolidating the bitsy, propagative, And diversity studies On Saraca asoca (Roxb.) de Wilde. Studies on seed germination, biochemical and Physicochemical parameters, and population status are mooted. Ashoka is Ancient and dependable source of drug and used in numerous pharmacological exertion like anti Cancer oxytoxic, anti–microbial exertion and have extend uses in Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy This protean factory is the source of colorful corridor of factory like flowers, leaves, dinghy and seeds Are of medicinal value. Saraca Indica is the most important Medicinal factory which a lot of medicinal Values for womanish conditions and womanish affiliated problems similar as dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding, heavy flux of ages, pustules, internal Bleeding, effect on endometrial and the ovarian kerchief, Leucorrhoea, metrorrhagial. Ashoka is the used in numerous pharmacological activates like Antidiabetics.
