A REVIEW ON FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF TABLETS OF ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUG

ABSTRACT

Design and evaluation of Losartan Potassium fast-dissolving tablets. To Determine the Appropriate Drug and Excipients interactions. The use of direct compression in the creation of rapidly dissolving tablets FTIR studies to check for incompatibilities between drugs and excipients. Assess the impact of compression on the original data. Assess the quality of drug release studies performed in vitro super disintegrates such as Sodium Starch Glycolate and Polyvinyl Pyrrolidine fast dissolving tablets were prepared by using Direct compression technique. Fast dissolving tablets Shown satisfactory of pre compression parameters and post compression parameters. Amongst all the formulations, the formulation F6 was found to be optimized formulation and drug release was found to be 98.6%.
