ABSTRACT
The major problem facing the investigators is targeted drug delivery to specific sites. The emergency of a new nanoparticle’s carriers known as nano sponges should address these problems. Nano sponges are tiny sponges, which can be filled with a wide variety of drugs. These tiny sponges can circulating around the body until they encounter the specific target site and stick on the surface and began to release the drug in a controlled and predictable manner. To guide drug delivery a wide range of drugs could be packed into nanosponges. All lipophilic and hydrophilic medicinal products could be loaded into nanosponges. Nanosponges can be referred as solid porous particles having a capacity to load drugs and other actives into their nanocavity, they can
be formulated as oral, parenteral, topical or inhalation dosage forms because the drug can be released at specific target site and it will be more effective for a particular given dose. The nanosponge drug delivery has appeared to be one of life modern science in many successful sectors.
